Boutique hotel with a history of style
Built in 1884, this elegant mansion was once the home of Calais’ famous lacemakers. The exterior of the three-storey building has been beautifully preserved to reflect a period when Calais was the fashion capital of France.
You’ll be greeted like a member of a very exclusive French family the moment you step through the doors. The refined style is reflected throughout the building, with the high ceilings ornately decorated with delicate mouldings in keeping with the period.
Venture in a little further, and you will see that those original features are paired with unique Art Deco furniture and artwork from the 1920s onwards.

Huge bifold doors at the back of the house lead into the extensive garden. In warmer months, you can bask in the morning sun as you enjoy a leisurely French breakfast on the veranda.
